For determining the upper fixed point of thermometers and boiling points at Barometer pressure other than atmospheric. Comprising an upper boiling vessel with a steam jacketed inner tube. A lid with a tubule is provided which holds the thermometer under test in a bung. A side outlet draining tube and a glass manometric tube mounted in tubular with rubber bung, overall size 300 x 100mm.
