Comprising an acrylic chamber, overall dimension 163 x 98 x 98mm, containing fine iron fillings suspended in silicone oil. The chamber also incorporates an internal ‘tunnel’, 163 x 25mm length x diameter, into which bar magnets or narrow coils may be inserted. Magnets of other shapes may be investigated by simply positioning their poles near to one side of the chamber.
