Comprises stout open-end glass tube fitted with two tapered carbon electrodes by means of a bored rubber bung. Connections made by crocodile clips. An insulating strip of plastic in the bung prevents the clips being shorted accidentally. For quick and simple qualitative demonstration of electrolysis. Size of glass tube 75 x 25mm (Length x dia) and size of collecting tubes 75 x 10mm (Length x external dia).
